MORE ABOUT ME

I grew up in Quezon City, Philippines. I'm an internationally certified English language teacher with a license to practice, and I’m currently pursuing two master’s degrees—one in language teaching and the other in psychology. My experience in the insurance industry has been both rewarding and growth-oriented. Over the years, I’ve developed strong skills in customer service and administrative work, and I’ve come to appreciate the fast-paced, problem-solving nature of the job. It’s helped me stay organized under pressure, think on my feet, and stay focused on what matters most: delivering results and ensuring clients are well taken care of. What excites me most about my work is the chance to solve real problems and help people feel secure. Whether I’m streamlining a process or guiding a client through policy concerns, I take pride in making a tangible difference. I’m motivated by the impact I can have—both day-to-day and in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Personally, I enjoy the quiet moments that let me reset. I’m happiest with a good book, a cup of coffee, and no distractions. I find peace in nature—whether it’s hiking, walking under trees, or simply sitting somewhere green and quiet. Solitude recharges me. And yes, I unapologetically have Taylor Swift on repeat—her lyrics always seem to capture just the right feeling. A hidden talent of mine is knowing an impressive number of Taylor Swift lyrics by heart—it’s like a secret superpower that kicks in when a song comes on. I also have a gift for getting completely lost in a book and coming out of it with a fresh perspective. Catch me at the right moment and I’ll happily talk your ear off about character arcs, the perfect forest trail, or a scenic beach view. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me in bed with a good book, music playing in the background (probably Taylor Swift again), and no particular plans. I love slow weekends—the kind where I can rest, read, and recharge without a schedule. That’s my version of luxury. I’m deeply passionate about education, especially in communities with limited access. I’ve taught in remote areas, and it’s been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Being part of someone’s learning journey—especially where resources are scarce but the will to learn is strong—reminds me how powerful small acts of service can be.
